I have a GArmin Etrex and what to get a GPS track off it. I have serial adaptor into the USB port on my PC and Device manager in Windows 7 tells me that is Port 7. I go to the program GPStoWin and tell it to go to COM7 but is says USB handle cannot be found. Any ideas?

Finally found out it was the connector terminals on the GPS were corroded
